A Season of Gratitude: NW Works Holiday Events

NW Works has so much to be thankful for this holiday season, and we're especially thankful for those in the community who ensure our team can feel extra supported this season. Thank you to the Winchester Host Lions Club for donating 10 meal boxes, and to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester for providing gifts for team members year after year! Our team members look forward to opening their gifts every year, and we are so grateful to benefit from the kindness of community members.

The holiday season brings staff, team members, and community supporters together. Before our team left for the holiday break, our team enjoyed a gift exchange and our annual holiday meal together. Our team enjoyed side dishes paired with our main meal thanks to team members with the direction, support, and guidance of our Direct Support Professionals who support those we serve in learning about kitchen safety, measurements, recipe reading, and much more. We were also honored to welcome back volunteers from Alpha Omega to assist with serving our holiday meal. The Alpha Omega Team has been connected with NW Works for over 40 years, and we are so appreciative of their spirit of volunteerism over our 55-year legacy!
