NW Works Impact in 2025

The accomplishments of 2025 include 255 individuals served, 133 employed in our community, 61% working toward or in employment, 34 individuals in new or first time jobs, 55 business partners, and having achieved countless milestones.

We're reflecting on 2025 and the impact the individuals we serve, and our organization left on our community in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. In 2025, NW Works supported more people, more jobs, and more growth than ever before. Many team members at NW Works received their first paychecks, earned job promotions, and grew in life skills ranging from art and music to employment training. At NW Works, individuals are given opportunities to build skills, confidence, and independence, and we're looking forward to expanding those opportunities in 2026 as we continue celebrating our 55th anniversary.

We'll continue our 55-year legacy of impact in 2026 as we:

  • Support over 250 individuals across:

    • Our on-campus Group Day Support Program

    • Job coaching services in the community

    • Our Business Services and AbilityOne teams

  • Partner with 55 area businesses who employ and support the individuals we serve

  • Empower every individual we serve to continue developing skills, building confidence, and maximizing their independence through experiences at NW Works or in the community.
