Celebrating Developmental Disability Awareness Month- A Message from NW Works’ CEO
As we recognize Developmental Disability Awareness Month this March 2026, I want to take a moment to celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities within our organization and our community. At NW Works, we believe that true inclusion goes hand-in-hand with fostering independence, building essential skills, and encouraging active engagement for all.
This month, let us renew our commitment to creating an environment where every person can thrive and grow. By supporting opportunities and removing barriers for skill development and empowering individuals to take charge of their own journeys, we’re not just transforming lives—we are strengthening our entire community. I encourage each of you to follow along and participate in our upcoming events and initiatives beginning with our Go Orange Day and other activities designed to highlight the talents and stories of those we serve through Mission Moments, and to join us as we continue championing a culture of respect, dignity, and possibility every day.
Thank you for continued support of our mission and for helping to make NW Works a place where everyone has the opportunity to shine.
