Today’s spotlight shines on Dave, whose journey at NW Works has been all about building skills, confidence, and career options for the future.

Through hands-on skill development at NW Works, Dave has explored career pathways that align with his passions. One of his favorite opportunities has been working with the Apple Valley Woodturners, where he’s learned how to stain bowls while building fine motor skills. These same skills carry over into his work with community business partners like Axalta, where Dave carefully labels paint cans and contributes to the team’s success.

For Dave, and so many others, each skill creates new opportunities to reach employment goals and discover passions and interests. We’re proud of Dave’s progress and excited to see where his passions take him next!
