Meet Kirsta Weber, Director of Human Resources

Kirsta Weber serves as the Director of Human Resources at NW Works. Kirsta grew up in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and has called Winchester, Virginia home since 1988. She is deeply committed to supporting her local community and helping others thrive. Kirsta earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in Human Resources from American Public University.

An active member of the Winchester Area SHRM chapter (WASHRM) for more than 20 years, she holds both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-CP certifications. With 23 years of experience in human resources, Kirsta has worked across multiple industries, including education, manufacturing, professional services, and healthcare. Before joining NW Works in February 2026, she served as an Employee Relations and Labor Consultant and as Manager of HR Business Partners within healthcare organizations. She also spent 10 years as an adjunct instructor at Lord Fairfax Community College (now Laurel Ridge Community College).

Kirsta’s husband, Ben, is the Vice President of Business Development at Blue Ridge Care. She is an active volunteer at Opequon Presbyterian Church, where she serves as an elder and participates on the Christian Education Committee. In addition, she serves on the board of CCAP in Winchester.

Kirsta has two children: Mitchell, an architect based in Jacksonville, Florida, and Bo, an eighth grader who currently plays on the Sherando High School JV soccer team. Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Kirsta enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a passion for travel.  Her bucket list is very long!   She has visited all 50 states and hopes to complete her goal of traveling to all seven continents—only two remain. She also enjoys renovating old homes, antiquing, reading, and exploring history.
