Meet Jacob Young, Director of Support Services & Development

Jacob Young is the Director of Support Services & Development at NW Works. He supports the organization’s mission by strengthening internal systems, development efforts, and technology infrastructure that enable adults with disabilities and individuals facing barriers to employment to build skills, secure meaningful work, and maximize independence.

Jacob’s work is grounded in a belief that strong missions require strong foundations. In his role, he partners closely with the President/CEO and leadership team to ensure that the behind-the-scenes systems, processes, and supports are thoughtful, reliable, and aligned with the needs of both staff and the individuals NW Works serves. He approaches leadership with a steady focus on execution—helping organizations do their work well, consistently, and with care.

Throughout his career, Jacob has been drawn to mission-driven environments where operations, people, and purpose intersect. Outside of his professional work, Jacob places a high value on community and service. He is active at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Jesuits, where he serves in Liturgical Ministry, the Arts and Environment Ministry, and as an OCIA sponsor. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially his two nieces Lilah Grace and Cora Jade, being outdoors, and going on spontaneous adventures with his dog, Frances.
